Norris James Kase
Norris James Kase, 84 of Union, MO went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ his Savior on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the New Haven Care Center in New Haven, MO.
Norris was born on March 8, 1933 in Etlah, MO to Henry J. Kase and Pearl (Fieselmann) Kase. Norris attended and graduated from New Haven High School class of 1950. He was active in sports and enjoyed playing on the basketball team. On May 27, 1952, Norris was united in marriage to Marie H. Dahl and they were blessed with three children; Dale, Jim and Mike.
Throughout Norris’ lifetime he had a well diversified background of skills from supervisor at Kellwood Company (Hawthorn), owner/operator of Kase & Sons Feed Service, school bus driver, welder at Binkley Company, farmer, supervisor at Chrysler, supervisor at SKF Foundry, Real Estate Lowes and wrapped up his many years of working at Orschlens Farm and Home at the young age of 80 years old. Norris enjoyed and was dedicated to working with people and serving their needs.
Norris is survived by his wife, Virginia Angell Kase, three sons, Dal Kase of Berger, MO, James Kase and wife, Marjorie, of Sullivan, MO, Mike Kase and wife Donna of Cape Coral, FL, two step-daughters, Chris Angell of Lake St. Louis, MO, and Tracy Meers and husband, Bradley, of Foristell, MO, six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Norris James Kase is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Pearl (Fieselmann) Kase, brother, Stuart Kase and wife Bernice, his first wife, Marie, (Dahl) Kase, and second wife, Catherine, (Holdmier) Kase.
The family celebrated the life of Norris James Kase with a memorial service on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Memorial Baptist Church at 205 Sunset Lane, New Haven, MO. Visitation was from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Memorial Service was from 12 noon - 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home are appreciated.
