Nancy A. Gloriod

Nancy A. Gloriod, age 68, of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. 

Nancy Ann Hayes was born at the family home in Richwoods on July 21, 1949, to the late Louis and Eva G. (Ramey) Hayes. She attended schools in Richwoods and Potosi. Nancy was united in marriage to Louis “Ted” Gloriod on January 25, 1969, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Richwoods. To this union two children were born, Lou and Angie. They started their family in Union and then moved to Sullivan in 1982. Nancy spent her time raising her family and sometimes even helping on the farm. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, watching hummingbirds and crafting. Nancy was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and worked alongside Barb Kuelker as a teacher’s aide. She was also a demonstrator for a card making company called “Stampin’ Up”. 

Nancy is survived by two children, Lou Gloriod (wife, RaDawn) of Sullivan, MO and Angie Gloriod of Washington, MO; one brother, Rob Hayes (wife, Sheila) of Richwoods, MO; one sister, Sharon Witt of Richwoods, MO; other relatives and friends. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Louis “Ted” Gloriod and her parents, Louis and Eva G. (Ramey) Hayes.

Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO. 

Funeral Mass was celebrated 11 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2018 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Richwoods, MO with Father Bob Knight and Father Paul Telken con celebrating. Burial followed in St. Stephen Cemetery.
