Nancy Elaine Reynolds

Nancy E. Reynolds, 81, of Troy, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Stonecrest Healthcare in Viburnum, MO.

Nancy Elaine was born on April 20,1936 to Oliver and Doris (Royce) Schmitt in Louisiana. She grew up and attended school in Louisiana. She met Charles Reynolds and they got married in the 1950’s. They moved to Sullivan, which is where they began to raise their family. Nancy stayed home to raise their children and worked very hard around her home. She enjoyed planting flowers and gardening, as well as sewing and knitting. In 1960, Charles and Nancy moved to St. Peters and made their final home. Nancy will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Nancy is survived by one son, Joseph Reynolds of Cape Girardeau, MO; two daughters, Angela Reynolds of Troy, MO; Kathy Reynolds of Farmington, MO; eight grandchildren, Kelli, Sean, Jodi, Christopher, Torrey, Spencer, Sheldon and Olivia; numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Reynolds; one son, Charles P. Reynolds; her parents, Oliver and Doris (Royce) Schmitt and one sister, Betty Hulsey.

Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO.

Visitation was held from 12:30-2 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO.
