Muriel “Lee” Spindler

Muriel A. “Lee” Spindler, 96, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Golden Living Center-Lincoln Hills.

She was born in St. Louis, MO, on April 29, 1921, daughter of the late Leonard Dewey and Blanche (Enloe) Vogel. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Alfred William Spindler; daughter, Sharon Carroz and sisters, Shirley Mae Vogel, Laverne Campbell and Oneda Pierre.

A homemaker, Lee also enjoyed traveling, crocheting, sewing and canning. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Shirley Casebolt, Tell City and Janice Mitchell, Branson, MO; a son, Avery Casebolt, Medford, OR; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Duvelius officiated. Visitation was held from 8-9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
