Mildred ‘Mickey’ Louise Jordan

Mildred Jordan, 91, of Springfield, passed away at Wilson’s Creek Nursing and Rehab on March 25, 2018.  She was born on May 29, 1926 to the late Charles and Maude (Lawson) Anderson in Oklahoma. Mickey was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan and spent 11 years with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts as a den mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jordan; brothers, Wayne and Everette Anderson; sister, Hilda M. Foshee Patterson.  

Mickey is survived by her daughter, Karen Kramer; sons, Ernest Jordan and his wife Dona, and Dr. Richard Jordan; granddaughters, Debra, Kristie, Kathy, and Jamie; grandsons, Richard and Grant; six great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members.

A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, June 23 at 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m.  Pastor Gene Rauls will be officiating. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
