Michael Patrick McDonald
Michael Patrick McDonald, 69, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his home.
Michael Patrick was born on August 5, 1948 to the late Edward G. and Anna J. (Sherman) McDonald in St. Louis, MO. He was united in marriage to Anna Marie Jones on August 19, 1992 in White Hall, AR. Mike was employed by Lianco Can Company in St. Louis for ten years and he retired from Walmart after twenty-one years of employment. Mike was a family man who loved his grandchildren dearly; he loved all kids and was a great promoter of all things for children. Mike also enjoyed singing and playing guitar.
Mike is survived by his wife, Anna M. (Jones) McDonald of Sullivan, MO; one son, Michael McDonald and wife Vickie of St. Louis, MO; one stepson, David Pemberton and wife Elizabeth of FL; one stepdaughter, Lisa Becker and husband Mike of Sullivan; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret McDonald of Redbud, AR and Mary Kay Varnell and husband Billy Joe of Sheridan, AR; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna J. (Sherman) McDonald; his daughter, Angela McDonald; two step-children, Jerry and Diane Pemberton
A gathering of family and friends was held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Grace City Church in Sullivan, MO.
