Margaret Ann Neff

Margaret Ann Neff, of Sullivan, MO, was born to the union of Robert and Elizabeth LaVear on Friday, May 19, 1944 in Washington, MO. She left from this life on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Life Care Center in Sullivan at the age of 73 years.

Margaret lived a truly unique life. Once, as a freelance photographer in Nashville, TN she was “shooting the stars”, in which she loved capturing the moment. She would later move to Sullivan to open one of the first 24-hour licensed day care facilities. She molded each child in her care, to be their own individual person and taught many young parents, that the most important thing you could spend on your child is time.

She spent her later years at Cuba Manor, where she enjoyed playing bingo, singing karaoke, going to church services, listening to classic country music and spending time with family and friends.

Margaret was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Elizabeth LaVear; one brother Floyd LaVear; one sister Elizabeth Brake and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her son Dwayne and wife Britni Garfoot; daughter Robin Rogers; the love of her life and only granddaughter Samantha Rogers all of Sullivan, MO; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

As per her wishes, Margaret will be cremated.
