Doodie was a Christian, believing in the Lord as her Savior.  She had made caring for her home and family her career in life and she never tired of her job. She loved spending time outdoors and hunting mushrooms in the Spring was a favorite hobby.  She liked piecing quilts and spending time with her sister as she quilted them.  Fishing was another of her favorite pastimes, especially when her children and grandchildren went with her. She and Ed loved to travel the remote country roads and find small restaurants to eat at. Nothing made her happier than the time she spent with her family and many wonderful memories were created.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO, with Deacon Ray Hoermann officiating.  Interment was in Licklider Cemetery, Cuba, MO.
