Lloyd Allen Myers, of Cuba, MO, was born on Thursday, April 21, 1949 in Welch, WV to Otis Lloyd Myers and Maxine Henrietta Allen Myers.  He passed away in his home on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the age of 71 years and 3 days.

Lloyd served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War. He also served in the National Guard and Army Reserves. Lloyd married Wanda R. Hoke on August 12, 1972 in Cuba, MO and to this union two children were born. Lloyd retired from Doe Run Mines, Sullivan, MO, working in several different positions. Lloyd was a member of the Covenant Praise Church of God, Cuba, MO where he served as an usher and was involved in the nursing home ministry. He was a very friendly man and enjoyed making people smile. His hobby was fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Maxine Myers; sister Pat Long; parents-in-law Jim and Hilda Hoke.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Myers of Cuba, MO; son Jason and wife Vicki Myers of St. James, MO; daughter Misty Myers and fiancé Leo Boyer of Cuba, MO; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Sandy and husband Stanley Delcour of IL; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Private Graveside Service and burial was held on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, MO with Darren Dake officiating, with full military honors.

Arrangements under the care of Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO.
