Laura E. Nicoletti (Ruwwe)
Laura Nicoletti (Ruwwe), 55 of Imperial, MO, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her home.
Laura E. Ruwwe was born April 16, 1962 to Donald and Chleo (Marsh) Ruwwe in St. Louis, MO. She grew up and attended school in Sullivan, St. Louis and Rolla. She became a mother early in her life, giving birth to her beloved daughter, Shandi. Together, they lived in various states before returning to Missouri where they settled in the Fenton area. Through the years, Laura worked as a bartender, waitress and a seamstress. She was gifted at sewing many things, including clothing. Laura was also good at cooking and enjoyed making meals for family and friends. Over the years, she enjoyed playing frisbee, going to yard sales and playing billiards. Many who knew her will remember that she loved the color pink! Among other things, Laura loved her three grandchildren: Nathan, Luci, and Chase. She will be missed by many family and friends.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Shandi Wheeler (and fiancé, Ben Swederska) of St. Louis; her father, Don Ruwwe (and his wife, Peggy) of Bourbon, MO; a brother, Steve Ruwwe (and his wife, Judy) of Stanton, MO; two sisters: Jan Lein (and her husband, Kim) of Iberia, MO and Linda Schneider (and her husband, David) of Rolla, MO; three grandchildren: Nathan, Luci, and Chase Swederska of St. Louis; a special friend, Frank Bowman of Imperial, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives; and her beloved cats: Irving, Andrew, and Charlie Brown.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Chleo Ruwwe; and nephew, Brian McCance.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO. Cremation was to take place following visitation. Inurnment will be at a later date in Cave Spring Cemetery, Sullivan, MO.
