Kimberly A. Dill, 55, of Rosebud, MO, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, April 14, 2018 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Kim was born on December 31, 1962 to Kenneth and Ann Dill, in Sullivan, MO. Kim completed her freshman year of high school in Sullivan, before moving to Texas, where she graduated from Robinson High School. Kim then attended Kilgore College and East Texas Baptist University on a full basketball scholarship.

Kim raised her family in Texas, before moving back to Missouri in 1997. She then completed her BS Degree in Education. Kim started her career at the Sullivan Middle School, by teaching 6th, 7th & 8th grade Science. Later, she completed two Master’s Degrees; one in Educational Administration and the other in Quality Schools. These degrees launched her career as Assistant Principal and then Principal of the Sullivan Middle School. Kim closed her career at the Sullivan School District as the K-12 Science Instructional Coach. Kim was able to live out her lifelong dream of reaching young people and sharing the idea that “Knowledge is Power” and “The more you know, the further you go.”

Kim is survived by her best friend, Anita Jones of the family home, three sons, Frank Fitzpatrick (wife, Kim) of Mission, KS, Joseph Fitzpatrick of Eldon, MO and William Fitzpatrick of the family home; her mother, Ann (Drier) Dill of New Haven, MO; one brother, Kevin Dill (friend, Susie Buckner) of Lago Vista, TX; sisters, Cheri’ Hunter (husband, David) of Gainesboro, TN and Cindy Fox (husband, Kent) of Aurora, CO; special nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and many, many friends and special teacher friends.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Dill.

Visitation will be held from 12-4 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Sullivan High School Theater. Private Graveside Services will be held following the visitation.   

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be given to the Team Kaden Foundation.
