Ken W. Clonts

Ken Clonts, 69, of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Kenneth Wayne was born on April 1, 1948 to Raymond and Celia (Hammer) Clonts in Sullivan, MO. He grew up and attended school at Spring Bluff before graduating from Sullivan High. Ken was united in marriage to Debra Frohbieter on July 5, 1975 at the Bem Church in Bem, MO. To this union, there were three children: Tommy, Kevin, and Jennifer. Ken’s life changed when he met the Lord and he became a passionate ambassador of Christ. He was involved in O. E. F. and was instrumental in planting churches in Herman, Pacific and Warrenton. He was a faithful member of Sullivan Christian Church, serving both as deacon and elder for many years. Throughout his life, he was employed at Meramec Industries for several years and then at the former Olin Brass company in Cuba. Ken enjoyed the outdoors and would often go to the woods to talk with the Lord. He loved watching tractor pulls and drag races, and especially attending antique tractor shows. Ken was a wonderful friend of God and will be missed by all who knew him.

Ken is survived by his wife, Debra Clonts; a son, Tommy Clonts of Sullivan, MO; three grandchildren, Holly, Brandon and Sean Clonts of Westminister, SC; two brothers: Jerry Clonts and wife Carol of Sullivan, MO and Harold Clonts and wife Anita of Cuba, MO; and other relatives and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Clonts; a daughter, Jennifer M. Clonts; a brother, Jimmy Clonts; a sister, Barbara Green; and his parents.

Funeral services were conducted 12 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.
