Julie Young

Julie Young, age 43, of High Ridge, MO, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 in Kansas City, KS. 

Julie Marie was born on December 1, 1975 in Sullivan, MO, the daughter of Ralph and Ronda (Wideman) Young. She grew up in Arkansas and attended and graduated from Bentonville High School. She was employed by Kennametal in Arkansas for a time. Most recently, Julie made her home in High Ridge, MO. She was loved by her children, parents, siblings and large extended family. 

Julie is survived by three children: Alexis Peckham of Centerton, AR, Dakota Butler of Bentonville, AR, and Holden Young of High Ridge, MO; two grandchildren, Dreagon Scott and Jenesis Ridpath; her father, Ralph Young and wife, Diane, of Bentonville, AR; her mother, Ronda Young of High Ridge, MO; one brother, Jason Young of Farmington, MO; one sister, Charlotte Young of Festus, MO; step-brother, Michael Harrison; step-sister, Breana McDonald; nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Heinz and Virginia Young; maternal grandmother, Roberta “Faye” Roddy; and three aunts:  Janice Stephens, Donna Stevens and Norma Jones. 

Funeral services were conducted 12 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, with Pastor David Godad as the officiant. Interment followed in I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan. 

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. 

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan, MO.
