Joyce M. Foster

Joyce Marie (Weiskopf) Foster, age 75, of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family.

Joyce Marie was born on October 5, 1942 to the late Howard and Iola (Koelling) Farrell in Gasconade County, MO. She graduated from Owensville High School and was a waitress for nearly twenty years. Joyce was united in marriage to Robert Weiskopf in 1960 and they were blessed with two sons, Richard and Robert, Jr. Weiskopf. Her and Robert lead a very simple life and they enjoyed fishing together. Robert preceded Joyce in death in May 1980. Joyce was later remarried to Roy Foster in 1983. They owned and operated Roy’s Auto Sales for nearly thirty years. They enjoyed traveling all over the United States and doing some gambling along the way. Roy preceded Joyce in death in 2014. Joyce was Baptized at Assembly of God Church in Sullivan and had attended church there for many years.

Joyce is survived by two sons, Richard Weiskopf (wife, Susan) of Rosebud, MO and Robert Weiskopf, Jr. of Sullivan, MO; siblings, Eugene Farrell (wife, Delores) of Sullivan, Jane Shepherd of Gerald, MO, Sandra Farrell of Japan, MO and Norman Farrell (wife, Mary) of St. James, MO; six grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Weiskopf; second husband, Roy Foster; her parents, Howard and Iola Farrell.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Funeral Services were conducted 12 Noon, Saturday, at the Eaton Funeral Home, with Pastor Dennis Vickers officiating. Interment followed in I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan.
