John Neff

John David Neff, 71, Festus, passed away Wed., November 21, 2018 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. 

John, son of the late Floyd and Virginia (Allen) Neff, was born December 30, 1946 in Sullivan, MO. He was owner/operator of J. Neff Inspections & Consulting LLC and was a US Air Force veteran. He was a true entrepreneurial spirit; he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren particularly watching their sports and encouraging them; he served on the Festus Planning and Zoning Committee and the Festus-Crystal City Sewer Commission.

Among his survivors are his wife of 37 years, Phyllis (Wilson) Neff, sons, John A. (Holly) Neff of St. Clair and Joe D. Neff of Arnold, daughter, Elizabeth Rincon-Ubertaccio of Ft. Worth, sisters, Leona (William) Matthews of Eureka and Peggy Turner of Olney, IL, grandchildren, Savannah, Johnny, Charlie, Sammy, Henry, Parker and Blake Neff, In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Spiller.

Service was Mon., November 26, 2018 with burial November 27, 2018 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors

Arrangements was under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, Festus, MO  63028.
