Janet L. Kincaid, age 62, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. 

Janet Lynne was born on August 25, 1956 in Salina, KS, to Robert Lane and Nancy Ann (Anderson) Hassebroek. She grew up and attended school in Sullivan and was in the graduating class of 1974. Janet was united in marriage to Jeff Kincaid on June 13, 1981, in Bourbon, and they were blessed with three children, Shandy, Shalon and Derick. Janet was employed at Meramec State Bank for 18 years and Fidelity Communications for 26 years. She enjoyed antiquing and loved spending time with her family.  Janet was kind and loving and always wanted to help others.  

Janet is survived by her husband, Jeff Kincaid of Sullivan; one son, Derick Kincaid and wife, Ashley, of Sullivan, MO; two daughters, Shandy Byrd and husband, John, of Sullivan; and Shalon Williams and husband, Nick, of Sullivan; two sisters, Judi Jones and husband, O.H., of St. Charles, MO, and Cindy Doder of Crestwood, MO; very special sister-in-law, Linda Kincaid of Sullivan, MO; seven grandchildren, Johnni and Kolten Byrd, Lukas and Macy Williams, Carter, Jax and Audrey Kincaid; nieces and nephews, Melissa Duncan and husband, Larry, of Nashville, IN, Annie Lancaster and husband, Jon, of St. Ann, MO, and Jared Jones and wife, Shelly, of St. Charles, MO; other relatives and many friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nancy (Anderson) Hassebroek; parents-in-law, Jack and Viola Kincaid; brother-in-law, Larry Kincaid; and one niece, Laney Doder. 

Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2018 at Grace City Church in Bourbon, with Pastor Kenny Todd as the officiant.  Burial followed in Bourbon Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at the Eaton Funeral Home Southside Chapel on Sappington Bridge Road and from 10-11 a.m., on Friday, at Grace City Church. 

Memorial Contributions, in memory of Janet, may be given to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. 

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan & Bourbon, MO.
