James “Jimmy” D. Williams of Leasburg, MO, was born on Thursday, May 17, 1962 in Sullivan, MO, to James E. Williams and Shirley E. Ennis Williams. He passed away in Leasburg, MO, on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the age of 55 years, 11 months, and 21 days.

Jimmy made a profession of faith and was baptized at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Leasburg, MO, and later became a member of First Baptist Church, Leasburg.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army for 6 years and then in Reserves for 3 years. He worked 12 years for Don Branson Excavating Co. then worked most recently in maintenance for Loy Lange Box Co. in Belle, MO. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and tinkering with machinery.  He had a great imagination and was loved deeply by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father James; nephew Mark Gorzik; great nieces Jordan Orton and Megan Cencelewski; grandparents Minnie and Emil Ennis and Earl and Irene Williams.

He is survived by his mother Shirley E. Williams of Leasburg, MO; daughters Rachelle Williams of St. Louis, MO, Makayla Williams of Nixa, MO and Cheyenne Williams of Republic, MO; sisters Pamela Thomason, Cathy Harmon, Kim (Ryan) Gorzik and Melanie (Craig) Booher of Washington, MO; granddaughter Adalynn Williams of Republic, MO and great nephew  Adam Gorzik of TX; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation was Friday, May 11, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. and Funeral Service at 3 p.m. at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Pastor Terry King and Pastor Lane Allen officiating. Burial at Cross Roads Cemetery, Leasburg, MO with full military honors.

Memorials may be given to the funeral home for burial expense.
