Glenda K. Denson
Glenda K. Denson, age 75, of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
Glenda Kay Ruble was born on August 23, 1943 in Sullivan, MO, to the late Glen Ruble, Sr. and Helen G. Ruble. She grew up and attended school in Sullivan and was in the graduating class of 1961. Glenda was united in marriage to Donald Denson, Sr. on January 20, 1989, in Fulton, MO. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sullivan. Glenda was a Tupperware distributor and she enjoyed traveling to different cities and attending Tupperware conventions. She loved her dogs, crocheting and puzzle books. Glenda was involved locally with CCC’s and enjoyed time spent with her Ambassador’s group. Those who knew Glenda will remember her as being a fun person who enjoyed laughing and had a great sense of humor. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Donald Denson, Sr. of Sullivan; four sons, Steve Hathman (Joann Voss) of Sullivan, Jerry Rohrer of Sullivan, Jeff Rohrer and wife Sandy of Sullivan, and Don Denson, Jr. and wife Myrna of Corning, AR; one daughter, Stacey James and husband Larry of Sullivan; sixteen grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen Ruble, Sr. and Helen G. (Fowler) Ruble; one brother, Glen Ruble, Jr. and his wife, Janice Ruble.
Funeral Services were conducted 1 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Stanton. Pastor Randy Ruble officiated. Interment followed in Stanton Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, at First Baptist Church in Stanton.
Memorial Contributions, in memory of Glenda, may be given to Wounded Warriors.
All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan and Bourbon, MO.
