Frances Louise Blackwell, 77, of Gerald, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at her residence.

She was  born on April 28, 1942, to Franklin and Mildred (Jaeger) Blanton in Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Billy Ray Blackwell on February 28, 1962, in Gerald.

Frances Louise was a member of First Baptist Church in  Owensville. She enjoyed her dogs, drawing, reading, going to her kid's sporting events and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Mildred Blanton; brothers, Fred, Jimmie, and Leslie Blanton; and sister, Bonnie Jordan.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Ray of the home; children, Robert Schebaum and wife Kathy of Fulton, Billy R. Blackwell Jr. and wife Cathy of Union, Tom Blackwell and wife Jennifer of Greenbrier, TN, Deanna Halloran and husband Sean of Arnold, and Sean Blackwell of Union; brothers, Frank Blanton and wife Pat of Sullivan and John Blanton and wife Karol of Bourbon; sisters, Kathy Shoemaker and husband Stanley of Owensville and Joan King and husband Jerry of Bourbon; brother-in-law, Tom Jordan of Bourbon; and 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held on Tuesday, July 9 at Gottenstroter Chapel in Owensville with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
