Frances Kays

Frances Kays, age 73, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Life Care Center of Sullivan.

Frances K. was born on March 30, 1945 in Sullivan, MO, to Miles and Marie (Cain) Watson. She attended Sullivan schools and graduated from Sullivan High School, Class of 1963. Frances was united in marriage to Patrick Kays on May 21, 1965 and two sons, Dewayne and Terry, were born to their union. While raising her family, Frances was employed as a cook for St. Anthony Catholic School. She later worked for Aerofil Technology for about ten years; however, her main vocation was caring for her husband and sons. Frances and Patrick enjoyed going for rides in the country and would occasionally drive all the way to Kansas City. Frances attended St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and writing. She will be missed by her family and many friends.

Frances is survived by her husband, Patrick Kays; two sons, Dewayne Kays of Sullivan and Terry Kays of Sullivan; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Marie (Cain) Kays; one brother, Bud Watson; and one sister, Barbara Watson.

It was Mrs. Kays’ desire to be cremated, there will be no services at this time.

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home of Sullivan & Bourbon, MO.
