Faye Reed

Faye Reed was born in Peoria, Illinois on Feb. 2, 1938 to Rose and Earl Delcour. Faye passed away peacefully at the Dixie Regional Medical Center at the age of 81 on Oct. 3, 2019.

In 1956 she married her high school sweetheart Gordon Reed in Sullivan, Mo., where they attended school. To this union four children were born, Rhonda, Ricky, Randy and Rachelle. Gordon and Fayed moved to Page, AZ in 1976 with their family where Gordon was employed at the Navajo Generating Station until 1994.

Faye enjoyed reading, watching episodes of Andy Griffith, spending time with her fourlegged fur baby “Pablo,” her friends Arleen Miller, Tina Oman and traveling with her companion Bill Friedley.

Faye is survived by her sister Norma Bieber of Roswell, GA, her three children, Rachelle Kirton (Bill) of Maui, Randy Reed (Mari) and Rhonda Bellar of Page, Az, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Reed, her son Ricky Reed and her son-in-law Jon Bellar.

Faye’s wishes were to be cremated and buried next to her husband at the Page cemetery. A small graveside service was held on Oct. 12, 2019.

The family would like to thank Pastor Manny Parks for officiating at the graveside service and to all the family and friends for your support, the cards, flowers and prayers during this difficult time. Memories of Faye will remain in our hearts forever.
