Elizabeth E. Ziegler (Harris), 79, of St. Clair, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in Sullivan. 

Elizabeth was born July 27, 1939 to John Urban and Dorothy (York) in St. Louis. She would later be adopted by Herman Harris and Etta Rodgers in June of 1940. 

After 15 years of working as a husband and wife team as over the road truck drivers, Elizabeth and her late husband Donald retired. 

She was a member of the Canaan Land Ministries for 25 years and she enjoyed cooking for the church camp. She loved playing Bingo at the senior center and being the Bingo caller.  

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ziegler; both sets of parents; John and Dorothy Urban and Herman and Etta Harris; one daughter, Bonnie Carnelison; four sisters, Dorothy, Stella, Thelma and Bernice; two brothers, Arthur and Albert.   

She is survived by one son, Kevin Ziegler and fiancé Heather Taylor of Bourbon; three daughters, Patricia Evans of Hollister, Carol Fricks of Sullivan and JoAnn Crider and husband Dale of Bourbon; two brothers, Johnny Urban of Foristell and Fred Urban and wife Stephanie of St. Louis; four sisters, Cecilia Candela and husband Jim of Wentzville, Bernadine Dotson of Portland, Mary Redago of St. Louis and Judy Blantoner of St. Louis; fifteen grandchildren, Charles Spoon, William Spoon, Thomas Evans, Victoria Evans, Cara Michel, Christa Ziegler, Joseph Fricks, Cassidy Conners, Siarrah Ziegler, Hannah Ziegler, Sheila Donner, Garth Hurst, Kristian “B’liz” Faulkner, Billie Crider and Kathleen DeWitt; thirty-two great-grandchildren, Issac, Isaiah, Ezra, Lauren, Luke, Logan, Kaden, Keira, Raigan, Landon, Levi, Abigail, William, Amber, Samantha, Codi, Jermany, Maddix, Hailey, Savanna, Courtney, Matthew, Elizabeth, Jacob, Colton, Chloe, Adleigh, Elle, Corbin, William, Cooper and Ayden; six great-great-grandchildren, Zoee, Chase, Bow, Alyssa, Lane and Kylee; two best friends, Carla Hansel of 60 years and Pastor Fern Nye; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. We send our love to anyone that might not have made it in the obituary. 

A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at New Chapel Hill Cemetery, 5583 Chapel Hill Road Sullivan, MO 63080. 

Memorial Donations are preferred to Canaan Land Ministries, 1424 Mill Hill Road, St. Clair, MO 63077.
