Donna Sue Valley

Donna Sue Valley, 72, of Owensville, MO, departed this life on Monday, February  10, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.

She was born on May 8, 1947, to Noel and Etta (Blackwell) Shoemaker in High Gate.

She was united in marriage to Donald Valley on June 26, 1965, at Leslie.

Donna enjoyed sewing, fishing and spending time with family especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Etta Shoemaker; husband, Donald Valley; son, Paul Valley; brothers, John, Joe and Henry Shoemaker; and sisters, Ida Koehler, Iva Butler, Juanita Sachs and Frona Scantlin.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Valley and wife Kathy of Sullivan; brothers, Gene Shoemaker of Pacific, George Shoemaker and wife Becky of Springfield and Bob Shoemaker and wife Patty of Gerald; sisters, Helen Peth of Union, Okal Nevills and husband Art of Gerald and Berniece Stephens of Gerald; grandchildren, Timothy Valley of Sullivan, Kyra Valley of Cuba and Shane Valley of Sullivan; and a special great-grandchild Evalyn Mackley.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 18 from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 19 at 10 a.m. at the Chapel with Fr. Tim Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville.
