Donna Boyer, age 49, of Bourbon, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at her home.

Donna Marie Boyer was born on December 20, 1968 in Bronx, NY, to George and Frances (Manues) Hess. She was raised in South St. Louis by Larry and Mary Husch. On September 26, 1992 she was united in marriage to Ronald Boyer and two children, Zachary and Tiarra, were born. In 2003, Ronald and Donna moved to Bourbon where they made their home. Donna loved being a stay at home “super mom” and was the rock of the family. She had a very outgoing personality, loved life, and was the “light” in her family’s lives. Everyone knew there was always a warm meal at Donna’s house, no matter who you were. She was “mee-maw” to her grandbabies and they meant everything to her. She loved teaching her grandbabies new things, such as high fives, pound it, and how to punch your face off. Donna enjoyed crafting and painting with a specialty of spray painting. There wasn’t a day you saw her without all her accessories and jewelry on. Her biggest regret was “not shooting someone’s big toe off” so she could watch them dance.

Donna is survived by her husband, Ronald Boyer of Bourbon; two children, Zachary Manson and girlfriend Kayla Hallam of Sullivan, and Tiarra Boyer and fiancé Mark McMillian of Sullivan; her mother, Mary Husch of Bland, MO; biological mother, Frances Graddy of Owensville; nine grandchildren:  Briana, Leighanna, Dustin, Liza, Lylah, Willow, Olivia, Oliviannah and Lillana; three sisters, Patty Murphy of Union, MO, Barbara Degaltini of Mahopac, NY, and Anita Husch of Desoto, MO; eight brothers, Joseph Hess of Owensville, MO, Robert Hess and wife Ellen of Aimes, IA, Frank Polgano of Eastchester, NY, Danny Hess of Carmel, NY, George Polgano and wife Sandra of Bronx, NY, Arthur Polgano and wife Laura of Brookfield, CT, Dale Husch and wife Ginger of Montgomery, TX, and Danny Polgano and wife Jessica of Bronx, NY, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
