Donald E. Swan

Donald E. Swan, age 76 of St. Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at NHC Maryland Heights.

Donald E. Swan was born on February 21, 1943 in Rolla, MO, the son of Harold and Pearl (Troutt) Swan. Don attended private religious schools. His father was a military man; therefore, the family moved many times. Don was very loved by his parents. For many years, they all worked together at the former Lee’s Grill in St. Louis. Don was also employed as a custodian for Valley Industries and retired from there in 2013. Don loved to tinker and take things apart. He was also a dog lover and had many pets. Although Don was a quiet person, he was also a very nice man who will be fondly remembered by his family.

Don is survived by his cousins, Bonnie Reinwart of St. Louis, MO and Theresa Stack of Florissant, MO; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harold and Pearl (Troutt) Swan.

Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri. Mr. Swan was buried at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Sullivan on Friday, October 25, 2019. 

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sullivan, MO.
