David L. Gilliam Sr.

David L. Gilliam Sr., age 77 of Bourbon, MO, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at his residence. David was born on June 15, 1941 in Belgrade, MO, a son to the late Clifford and Edith (Record) Gilliam. 

He attended school in Sullivan, MO. David proudly served in the U.S. Airforce from 1959 to 1963 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was employed and retired from Sharpe Army Depot, Lathrop, CA. David enjoyed refurbishing vehicles, boats, and equipment and loved antique car collections.  

On February 7, 1994, he was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Hoover in Reno, NV, who survives of the home. 

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughter from his first wife Joann, Deanna Eberhardt and her husband Douglass of Stockton, CA, from his second wife Marla, Monica Gilliam of Potosi, MO, David Gilliam Jr. of Potosi, MO, stepchildren, Timothy Lynchard and his wife Molly of Villa Ridge, MO, Steven Lynchard and his wife Anjanette of Ellicott City, MD, Dorinda Johnson and her husband Kristopher of Denver, CO, half- brother, Jim Hiller and his wife Irene of  Alamogordo, NM, his grandchildren,  Christina Lynchard, Andrea Gilliam, Veronica Gilliam, Jared Lynchard, Elizabeth Lynchard, Foster Lynchard, Allison Eberhardt, Alayna Lynchard, Alicia Gilliam, Nathaniel Gilliam, numerous nieces and nephews , other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his former spouse, Joann Gloria (Dell Aringa) Gilliam, one sister, Betty Jeanette Howard, one half-brother, Mark Hiller, one brother in law, Gary Howard, his niece, Faye Isom; and son in law Jack Huffendick. 

David requested to be cremated and wishes to have no services.
