Clarence Edward Sohn

Clarence Edward Sohn, age 89, entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2018 at his residence in Richwoods. He was born on October 21, 1928 in Richwoods to his late parents Mike and Maude (Littrell) Sohn.

Clarence was retired from maintenance at Meramac Mining. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Richwoods and a Deacon there for 62 years. Clarence was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #131 of Potosi. He enjoyed staying active in his church, working in his workshop, cattle farming and just enjoying life

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Betty (Hayes) Sohn of Richwoods; three sons Mike (Margo) Sohn of Lonedell, Ronald (Marcia)Sohn of Belgrade, Carl (Kelly) Sohn of Sullivan and daughter-in-law Connie Sohn of Richwoods; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Tuesday, January 30, 10-11 a.m. and the funeral was held at 11 a.m. at Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto. Interment followed at Prospect Cemetery in Lonedell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Richard Sohn and sister Edith Lewis. Officiating the service was Rev. Wayne Leftridge.
