Christine Aden

Christine Aden, 77, of Sullivan, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home.

Christine was born on November 7, 1940 to Bill Bo Thomas, Sr. and Mary V. (Holder) Thomas in Indianola, Mississippi. She grew up and attended school in Mississippi. At a young age, Christine moved to St. Louis to find work. St. Louis is where she met her future husband, Teddy L. Aden. They were united in marriage on February 24, 1962 and together, had a son, Timothy Paul. Teddy and Christine made their home in Florissant from 1965 to 1972, in Steelville from 1972 to 1990 and in Sullivan from 1990 to the present. Christine was employed by the former Von Weiss Greer in St. Clair for twenty-one years, until its closing. In retirement, Christine enjoyed watching action packed movies, gardening and planting flowers and spending time with her husband and son. Christine was an easy person to talk to and a great friend to many.

Christine is survived by her husband, Teddy Aden of Sullivan, MO; one son, Timothy Aden of the family home; two sisters, Bessie Brown of IL; and Patricia King of TN; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Bo Thomas, Sr. and Mary V. (Holder) Thomas; two brothers, Robert Thomas and Bill Bo Thomas, Jr.; and one sister, Betty Jean Setzer.

Visitation was held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Funeral services were conducted 1 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. Cremation followed.
