Charles Imboden

Charles Imboden of Bourbon, MO was born on Tuesday, November 6, 1934 in Vienna, MO to Lee Imboden and Elsie Rogers Imboden. He passed away in his home on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the age of 82 years, 9 months, and 21 days.

Charles married Pearl Rector on September 19, 1959 in Leasburg, MO. He liked attending Word of Life Church in Sullivan, MO and was baptized last year. He worked many years and retired from Paramount Cap factory. Charles loved his cats and enjoyed hunting coons, squirrels and deer. He also, liked camping, fishing, gigging and having fish frys. He raised a big garden and helped Pearl with the canning of vegetables. Charles loved his friends and family and will be missed greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Sylvia (Morris) Rector, Tilda (Leo) Laney, Myrtle (John) Elliott and Wanda Fleishman; brothers Ray (Rose) Imboden and Guy Imboden; niece Dana Howard; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Norbert Nilges, Helen Rector, Robert Rector, Melvin (Pat) Rector and David Howard.

He is survived by his wife Pearl Imboden of Bourbon, MO; sisters-law Marilyn (Arlen) Lange, Diane Rector, Rosalind Nilges, Sandra (Gary) Rehmert all of Bland, MO, and Madgeline Howard of Owensville, MO; brothers-in-law Glenn (Sandy) Rector of Centralia, IL, Gary (Janice) Rector of Owensville, MO and Arthur Rector, Jr. of Wappapello, MO; nieces nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was conducted at 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 and Funeral Service was at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Pastor Allen Duda officating. Burial at Bland Union Cemetery, Bland, MO.
