Carol R. Taylor
Carol R. Taylor, age 76, of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at SSM Health Center St. Clare Hospital – Fenton.
Carol Rose was born in St. Louis, MO, on August 5, 1941 to the late Clyde D. and Audrey M. (Groves) Weston. She grew up and attended St. Marks Catholic school in St. Louis. Her two greatest blessings came from her first marriage; daughters, Sue and Sandy. She was united in marriage to Bryan Taylor on April 4, 1987, in St. Louis, MO. In 1985, Carol and Bryan moved to Woodland Lakes to enjoy their retirement. Carol continued to work at Sullivan Wal-Mart for several years. She loved her co-workers and enjoyed getting together with them for luncheons over the years. Carol was very well known for her wonderful baking skills. She loved spending time with her family and raising her girls was always her greatest accomplishment. Carol will be missed by her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her husband, Bryan D. Taylor of Sullivan; two daughters, Sue French and husband Jim of St. Louis and Sandy Jackson and husband Ken of Fenton; one brother, Jack Weston of Rolla; two sisters, Audrey Johnson of Sullivan and Karen Pearce of St. Charles; five grandchildren, Aimee Kaemmerer and husband Fred of Catawissa, Samantha French of St. Louis, Maecy Jackson, Makenzie Jackson and Marissa Jackson, all of Fenton, MO; two great-grandchildren, Cayne Shinkle and Charlotte Shinkle; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde D. and Audrey M. (Groves) Weston and one brother, Clyde Weston.
