Brenda Sue Hamilton
Brenda Sue Hamilton nee Pack of Cuba, MO was born on Thursday, December 29, 1949 in Henderson, NC to James W. and Ruth Mae Buchanan Pack. She passed away at Victorian Place, Cuba, MO on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the age of 68 years, 5 months, and 7 days.
Brenda graduated from Bourbon High School then attended college and received a Bachelor Degree in nursing. She worked as a RN at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan and Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, MO. She also, had been a nurse at the Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan, MO. Brenda enjoyed photography, playing bingo, traveling and was an avid reader. She loved animals, especially dogs and horses. She raised and showed Norwegian Elkhounds with one of them receiving a Champion trophy. Brenda was a loving caregiver and will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Ruth Pack and brother-in-law Tex Smith.
She is survived by her sisters Cindy (Kevin) Ware and Shirley Smith all of Bourbon, MO; nieces and nephews Christy (Dennis) Nolie, Matt (Abbie) Bremer, and Tim (Diane) Ware all of Bourbon, MO and Tina (Scott) Gibbs of Cuba, MO; special cousins Ron and Lil Pack of Alabama, Sam Buchanan of West Virginia and Suzette Miller of North Carolina; special friend Gail Cook of Cuba, MO; her friends at Victorian Place, Cuba, MO; cousins and friends.
The Memorial Service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Burial at Delhi Cemetery, Cuba, MO.
Memorials may be given to the National Wildlife Federation and/or Humane Society of Missouri.
