Bradley J. Cash, age 59, of Summerland Keys, FL, formerly of Sullivan, MO, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018. 

Bradley Jay Cash was born in Washington, MO, on February 14, 1959, to Franklin “Bud” Cash and Deanne (Berti) Cash. Brad attended and graduated from Sullivan High School, class of 1977.  He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1979 to 1983. 

Brad attended the University of Missouri in Rolla and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He also attended Florida Atlantic University for graduate courses in Structural Engineering and Advanced Prestressed Concrete Design. He was employed as a Chief Engineer by Klein & Hoffman, Inc. in Hollywood, FL, LHT Design in Hastings, New Zealand, Harrison Grierson Engineering in Christchurch, New Zealand and K2M Design, Inc. in the Florida Keys. Brad was a member of the Florida Prestressed Concrete Association, Precast Concrete Institute, American Concrete Institute and Construction Materials Engineering Council. He also worked with “People Helping People” in rebuilding South Florida after the 1992 hurricane and was active in a program called “Neighboring Reinvestment” which was designed to rejuvenate local communities. Brad also spent one-year teaching English to Japanese, Korean, Russian and Chinese students in the Philippines. 

Brad traveled extensively and enjoyed hiking mountain trails, running in a few marathons, snow skiing and was a sports fan. He enjoyed watching Cardinal Baseball, St. Louis Blues and Miami Dolphins.  Brad was united in marriage to Manilyn Sabal on December 29, 2017 in Orlando, FL. They were blessed with two children, Galbraith and Hyacinth Asyia.

Brad is survived by his wife, Manilyn Sabal Cash of the Philippines; his children, Jamie Halmick and husband Caleb of Sullivan, Alex Cash and Justin Cash, both of Florida, Galbraith Cash and Hyacinth Asyia Cash of the Philippines; two grandchildren, Emily and Ashley Halmick; his parents, Franklin “Bud” Cash of Sullivan and Deanne (Berti) Weber of Sullivan; one brother, Burke Cash and fiancé Christie Jarma of Stanton; two sisters, Christine Cash of Eureka and Nicole Miller and husband Jason of Sullivan; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Goldie Cash and Norman and Nadine Berti; and one nephew, Jesse Cash. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering was held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
