During her life in Sullivan, she was a member of Peace Lutheran Church for many years.

In 1998, Betty and LeRoy moved to Springfield to retire and be near family.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed gardening, traveling and meeting new people.  She was a very giving person whose greatest joy in life came from helping and caring for others.  She will be missed by family, friends, and her wonderful neighbors whom she loved dearly.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Kathy Hollenberg and husband Jim of Crane, MO; two granddaughters, Ariana Calvert of Springfield, MO and Bevin Pope and husband Brandon of Springfield, MO; and other relatives.
