Betty Beardsley

Betty Beardsley of Valley Park, MO, formerly of Circle City, the daughter of the late Elvis Alfred and Emma May Brown, was born in Sikeston, MO on May 19, 1933, and passed away at her granddaughter's home in Sullivan, MO on November 23, 2018, at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 4 days.

She had lived in the Circle City and Canalou Communities and in Valley Park, MO before moving to Sullivan. She worked in customer service at Grandpa Pigeons until her retirement. She was of the Baptist Faith.

On February 16, 1957, she married Nolean Gray Beardsley in Dexter. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1993.

Surviving are one daughter, Lori Baird of St. Genevieve; two sons Dennis Brown of Wentzville, MO; Alan Miller of Sullivan, MO; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one brother, Joe Brown of Duncanville, TX. She was preceded in death by one son, Randy Beardsley, one brother in infancy and four sisters.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 1, 2018, after 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, MO.

Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
