Alice Ann Woodruff

Alice Ann Woodruff nee Kosfeld of Sullivan, MO was born on Saturday, October 14, 1922 in St. Louis, MO to Martin L. Kosfeld and Gertrude Cora Siemens Kosfeld. She passed away at LifeCare Center in Sullivan, MO on Wednesday, December 05, 2018 at the age of 96 years, 1 month, and 21 days.

Alice married Wilbert Henry Woodruff on August 15, 1940 in Bourbon, MO and to this union two children were born. Alice was a faithful member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bourbon, MO. She was a loving homemaker and was especially a great cook. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed making quilts by hand. Alice will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband  Wilbert Woodruff; son Edwin Woodruff; daughter Judy Fleenor; sister Ruth Kosfeld; brothers Martin Kosfeld, Milton Kosfeld and Lawrence (Jean) Kosfeld.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Joan Woodruff of Sullivan, MO; son-in-law Richard Fleenor of Bourbon, MO, sister Sylvia (Ivan)  Hartwick of Bourbon, MO; granddaughter Beth Woodruff of Sullivan, MO; niece June Mathews and special nephew David Hartwick all of Bourbon, MO; sisters-in-law Chris Kosfeld of Mont Alto, PA and Thelma Fricke of Florissant, MO; other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO. Funeral Service is 1 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO with Pastor Rodney Osborne officiating. Burial at Bacon Cemetery, Bourbon, MO.

Memorials may be given to Bacon Cemetery and/or Seventh Day Adventist Church, Bourbon, MO.
