Alfred Lee Bolin, Jr.

Alfred Lee Bolin, Jr., age 68, of Leslie, MO, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at his home. 

Alfred Lee was born on December 26, 1949 in Sullivan, MO, to the late Alfred Lee Bolin, Sr. and Dorothy M. Bolin. He grew up and attended school in Sullivan. 

Throughout his life, he enjoyed playing music with friends and a family.  At the age of 17, Al went to work for Chrysler Corporation.  He retired in 1998. Al was united in marriage to Debbie Weirich on August 30, 1968 in Sullivan. To their union, two daughters were born, Julie and Angie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and music. Al will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family and friends.

Al is survived by two daughters, Julie Bolin of Sullivan, MO, and Angie Reed and husband Dennis of Leonardtown, MD; 6 grandchildren, Darren Reed and wife Sara of California, MD, Hannah Sant and husband Logan of Leonardtown, MD, Heidi Reed of Leonardtown, MD, Garrett Whitener of Union, MO, Erica Reed of Leonardtown, MD, and Drew Baker of Union, MO; one great-granddaughter, Clara Reed; two brothers, Kenny Bolin and Kevin Bolin; one sister, Paula Davis; one half-sister, Barbara Moore; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah L. (Weirich) Bolin; his parents, Alfred L. Bolin, Sr. and Dorothy M. (Dixon) Bolin; two sisters, Gloria McCleary and Gwenda Burks; and two brothers-in-law, Jim Carter and Mark Woolley.

Funeral Services were conducted 12 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. Interment followed in Martin-Weirich Cemetery in Leslie, MO.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Friday, at the Eaton Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Martin-Weirich Cemetery in Leslie, MO.
