Unresponsive Child Transported To St. Louis
Sullivan Police said a 1-year-old male was flown to St. Louis after being found unresponsive on Tuesday night.
The child later tested positive for narcotics.
Sullivan Police Lt. Patrick Johnson said officers, Missouri Baptist Hospital Ambulance and the Sullivan Fire Department responded to the 600 block of East Vine Street. CPR was given to the boy.
Upon arrival, the child was immediately transported, via ambulance, to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan.
The parents of the child were present at the time of the incident. The child was later transported, via helicopter, to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
Police are still investigating the incident.
