Union Man Charged With Murder In Child's Death
A Union man was charged Saturday with first-degree murder in the death of a 2-year-old boy.
Austin T. Stonebarger, 23, allegedly admitted to police that he pushed the child, which caused him to strike his head.
Union police responded to a home on Henry Drive after midnight Saturday after receiving a report of a child unconscious and not breathing.
Officers attempted to revive the child with CPR. He was transported to Mercy Hospital in Washington and later pronounced dead.
