Two Sullivan Women Injured Monday In Accident

Two Sullivan had women had moderate to serious injuries and a Leasburg man had minor injuries Monday in an accident on Highway JJ, one mile south of Bourbon

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 2:35 p.m. a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Caleb M. Rodgers, 24, Leasburg, drove off the left side of the road, returned and traveled off the right side. The vehicle struck an embankment and overturned.

Christina Barquero, 27, Sullivan had serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis via Air Evac.

Sandy Martinez, 26, Sullivan, had moderate injuries and was transported to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. 

Johnnie Cooper, 25, Leasburg, had minor injuries. Rodgers was uninjured.

None of the four occupants were wearing safety devices and the vehicle received total damage.
