Two Pedestrians Seriously Injured
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an accident occurred Monday evening, June 8 at 9:25 p.m. on Hwy. WW. The crash occurred as pedestrians, two juveniles, both males age 12 and 16, were walking in the roadway. A 1998 Chevrolet Prizm driven by Anthony Adams, male 65, of Sullivan, struck both pedestrians in the westbound lane.
The 12-year-old pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported by Missouri Baptist Ambulance to Missouri Sullivan Baptist Hospital. The 16-year-old pedestrian also suffered serious injuries and was transported by Airevac to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
Adams suffered no injuries, however, the 1998 Chevrolet had extensive damage.
