Two Pacific Residents Accused Of Robbery, Assault

Two Pacific residents are accused of assaulting a man and stealing his vehicle Wednesday in Catawissa.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office recovered the vehicle at a garage in St. Clair.

Steven Terry, 35, and Trisha Warners, 32, have been charged with stealing a motor vehicle. They are each being held on a $50,000 bond.

Additional charges will be sought for robbery and assault.

Franklin County Sheriff Steven Pelton said around 10:30 p.m, deputies were dispatched to Catawissa to speak with the victim, a 56-year-old man visiting a friend off Robertsville Road.

The victim said he was approached by Terry and Warners, who asked him for a ride. The victim said he had been drinking and did not want to drive. He said he was jumped by the suspects. Terry assaulted him and when he tried to get back up, Warners allegedly brandished a knife and ordered him into his truck.

Terry and Warners allegedly drove his truck with him in it toward the Catawissa Inn bar. The victim said he jumped out of the vehicle and called for help while Terry and Warners fled in an unknown direction.

Deputies went to an address near T-Box Drive in St. Clair where the truck was hidden in an attached garage. The subjects in the house initially refused to cooperate with authorities but later opened the door.

Terry and Warners were taken into custody, along with an unnamed 23-year-old Union man wanted for outstanding warrants.
