Two Injured In I-44 Accident

Two Branson women had minor injuries Thursday when the vehicle they were traveling in hydroplaned and overturned on Interstate 44.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2017 Nissan Juke driven by Lorie A. Best, 46, was eastbound near the 233 mile marker when she hydroplaned, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned in the center median.
Best and a passenger, Delores Best, 67, were taken to Mercy Hospital in Washington.
Lorie Best was wearing a seat belt. The highway patrol said Delores Best was not.
The vehicle had extensive damage.
