Trial For Former Sullivan Teacher Accused Of Sodomy Set For September
A trial for a former Sullivan School District educator accused of sodomy is scheduled for Sept. 1-2 in Wayne County.
Freeman Fouts, 36, is charged with one count of statutory sodomy.
The victim was a former student of Fouts' while he was teaching at Cape Girardeau Central.
Online court records show that Fouts has until July 27 to submit a guilty plea.
Fouts also has been charged in Cape Girardeau County, though that case has been continued until Oct. 7.
