Trendy Threads Resale Opens In Downtown Sullivan

Trendy Threads Resale, 118 West Main Street, opened in downtown Sullivan on January 8, and is working to bring another resale shop to the Sullivan area.

According to Jamie Cartwright, owner, she decided to locate in downtown Sullivan after speaking with The Exchange owner Michelle Yoest, who also operates in downtown Sullivan, with a large scale resale shop.

“I spoke with Michelle Yoest and she encouraged me to open in downtown Sullivan stating that we needed more businesses in the downtown area and although we have a clothing resale shop also she felt that we would both help each other,” said Cartwright. “I also wanted to open this type of store because i love fashion.”

The business carries shoes, shirts, pants, dresses, dress shirts, formal wear coats, and much more from kids to men and women sizes. They also carry purses and can make tumblers , sport shirts, holiday items and uniforms.

“Traffic at the business has been slow to start as we get the store stocked and running and we also do take consignments at the store,” said Cartwright. “We expected to begin to take debit cards, credit cards this week but currently accept cash and checks.”

Cartwright also reported that the business is looking to expand in the area as they grow. 

Trendy Threads Resale is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
