Three Fatally Injured Friday Night In I-44 Accident In Sullivan

Three Aurora, Ill., residents were ejected from their vehicle and fatally injured Friday night, June 7, on westbound I-44 at 225.6 mile marker between the two Sullivan exits and into the front lot of Laura Ford, 47 North Service Road West.
A westbound 2020 Freightliner Cascadia struck the left side rear bumper of a 2004 Mitsubishi Montero. The Montero overturned ejecting all three occupants. The vehicle continued to overturn and traveled off the right side of the roadway and came to a rest in a ditch.
