Teen, Grandmother Accused Of Attacking Father, Female Victim With Metal Pipe

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said a grandmother and granddaughter broke into a home and assaulted a male and female victim with a metal pipe.

The male victim is the father of the granddaughter.

Courtney Rotter, 19, and Emma Moore, 62, have been charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree assault and third-degree domestic assault.

Bond has been set at $50,000.

According to Sheriff Steven Pelton, deputies responded to the 700 block of Shadow Lane in St. Clair on June 6 for a report of a peace disturbance.

Two residents reported that Rotter and Moore broke into the home. Rotter allegedly struck the female victim in the back of the head with a pipe. The male was sprayed in the eyes with hairspray and struck on the head by Moore.

Deputies later arrested the two suspects.
