Sullivan Woman Injured After Intentionally Striking Guardrail

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Sullivan woman had serious injuries after she intentionally struck a guardrail March 2 on Interstate 44 at the 219 mile-marker.
Darline M. Pehle, 24, struck the guardrail around 9:55 a.m. She was wearing a seat belt.
Pehle was transported to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital for treatment.
The highway patrol arrested Pehle for driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
