Sullivan Police Department Weekly Arrest Report

The Sullivan Police Department made 22 arrests for the week of February 4, through February 10 in the City of Sullivan.

This week’s arrests were:

Feb. 4: Courtney R. Wilcox, 24, was arrested for alleged driving while revoked, failure to register a motor vehicle and no insurance. Wilcox was held in the Sullivan Jail and released on a court summons.

Feb. 4: Gene G. Dugan Jr., 50, was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of driving while intoxicated. 

Dugan was held in the Sullivan Jail on $171 bond.

Feb. 4: Kevin M. Schmidt, 29, Sullivan, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of failure to restrain an animal, bond $100. Schmidt was held in the Sullivan Jail. Schmidt posted bond and was released.

Feb. 4: Jeffrey A. Hilborn, 27, was arrested on Sullivan Police warrants for failure to appear in court on the charges of shoplifting, total bond $800; Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charges of larceny and trespassing, total bond $3,000 and Union Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, bond $250. Hilborn was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 5: Beau A. Spencer, 18, Sullivan, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge possession of tobacco, bond $245 and Franklin County warrant for non-moving traffic violations with bond totaling $500. Spencer was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 5: Angel J. Johnson, 24, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of possession of marijuana, bond $173 and six Franklin County traffic warrants totaling $11,850. Johnson was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 5: Cobey W. Forester, 17, was arrested for alleged trespassing at Sullivan Wal-Mart, 350 Park Ridge Dr. Forester was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 5: Tabitha L. Freeman, 35, Sullivan, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of driving while revoked, bond $500. 

Freeman was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 6: Joseph R. Ware, 27, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant, St. Louis County Police warrant and a St. Ann Police warrant. Ware was held and released on bond.

Feb. 6: Peyton A. Payne, 18, Sullivan, was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance. Payne was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 6: Victoria N. Evans, 34, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of driving while suspended, bond $100. 

Evans was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 7: Alicia K. Strosnider, 27, Cuba, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of shoplifting, bond $100. Strosnider was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 7: Jeremy D. Gazaway, 36, Sullivan, was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance, under 35 grams and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Gazaway was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 7: Ashley Strube, 32, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of failure to register a motor vehicle, bond $100 and a Cuba Police warrant for stealing, bond $75. 

Strube was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 7: Hershel I. Simpson, 44, Sullivan, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of failure to maintain insurance, bond $100. Simpson was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 8: Travis M. McFarland, 34, Sullivan, was arrested for alleged felony possession of narcotics and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. 

McFarland was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 8: Daniel A. Scantlan, 31, Sullivan, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for felony domestic assault, bond $9,400 and Sullivan charges for alleged possession of a controlled substance and  failure to register a motor vehicle. Scantlan was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 8: Andrew P. Teel, 31, was arrested for alleged trespassing at Sulivan Wal-Mart. Teel was held and released on a court summons.

Feb. 9: Jacquelyn E. Rutledge, 40, was arrested for alleged stealing and trespassing at Sullivan Wal-Mart. Rutledge was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 9: Jeremy B. Nichols, 40, was arrested for alleged stealing at Sullivan Wal-Mart. Nichols was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 9: Alan V. Golden, 48, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of speeding, bond $190. 

Golden was held and released from Sullivan Jail.

Feb. 9: Sarah L. Rowden, 36, Sullivan, was arrested on Franklin County warrants for failure to appear in court on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of opium, non moving traffic violations, possession of marijuana, forgery, possession of amphetamine, failure to use headlights and possession of drug paraphernalia, bond $35,000 and a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of possession of dangerous drugs, bond $1,500. 

Rowden was held in the Sullivan Jail.
