Sullivan Police Department Weekly Arrest Report

The Sullivan Police Department made 10 arrests for the week of October 1 through October 7. This week’s arrests were:

Oct. 1: Jesse W. Lamar, 18, Sullivan, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of no valid drivers license. Lamar was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Oct. 2: Richard A. Whipp Jr., 26, Sullivan, was arrested for allegedly tampering with a motor vehicle and stealing. Whipp was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Oct. 2: James M. Keane, 27, Sullivan, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for dangerous drugs, no bond. Keane was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Oct. 2: Derrick J. Britton, 24, Sullivan, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance, bond $30,000 and possession of drug paraphernalia, bond $500. Britton was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Oct. 3: Joshua D. Ackerman, 40, Sullivan, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of non support, bond $50,000. Ackerman was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Oct. 5: Matthew E. Crider, 35, Springfield, was arrested for allegedly driving while revoked and possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Crider was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Oct. 5: Victoria Banks, 29, Sullivan, was arrested for allegedly displaying plates of another vehicle, failure to register a motor vehicle, no insurance, no valid drivers license, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Banks was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Oct. 5: John L. Cooper, 25, Sullivan, was arrested on three outstanding warrants from Franklin County on the original charges of traffic violations, bond $800. Cooper was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Oct. 7: Jeffery E. Barnard, 49, Sullivan, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for resisting arrest and two non-moving traffic violations, bond $10,000. Barnard was held in the Sullivan Jail.

Oct. 7: Glen D. Yarbrough, 50, Sullivan, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of following too close, bond $500 and a Sullivan charge of no insurance. Yarbrough was held in the Sullivan Jail.
