Sullivan Police Department Weekly Arrest Report
The Sullivan Police Department made 14 arrests for the week of July 2 through July 8 in the City of Sullivan.
This week’s arrests were:
July 2: Jamie L. Howell, 40, was arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine, distribution of methamphetamine and assault on a law enforcement officer. Howell was held in the Sullivan Jail.
July 2: Miranda D. Burkart, 28, Sullivan, was arrested for alleged shoplifting at Sullivan Wal-Mart, 350 Park Ridge Drive. Burkart was also arrested on a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of driving while revoked, bond $400. Burkart was also arrested for alleged possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. She was held in the Sullivan Jail.
July 2: Aaron N. Spain, 35, Sullivan, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of displaying plates of another. Spain was held in the Sullivan Jail on $200 bond. Spain posted bond and was released.
July 2: Kori A. Moss, 25, Cuba, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of speeding, bond $250. Moss was held in the Sullivan Jail.
July 3: Christopher G. Mallory, 54, Sullivan, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of leaving the scene of an accident, bond $562.50. Mallory was held in the Sullivan Jail.
July 3: Katrina S. Graham, 27, Sullivan, was arrested on a Cuba Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of larceny. Graham was held in the Sullivan Jail.
July 3: Tessa M. Cowhick, 25, Bourbon, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of shoplifting, bond $327.50. Cowhick was held in the Sullivan Jail.
July 4: Joseph B. Kahmke,43, Sullivan, was arrested on a Sullivan Police warrant on the original charge of failure to appear in court for failure to restrain an animal. Kahmke was held in the Sullivan Jail on $150 bond.
July 4: Lynn M. Gaulden, 33, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of no insurance, bond $150. Gaulden was held in the Sullivan Jail.
July 5: Ina L.R. Johnson, 18, Sullivan, was arrested for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Johnson was held in the Sullivan Jail and released on a court summons.
July 6: Alexis A. White, 23, Bourbon, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without a license and failure to register a motor vehicle. White was held and released on a court summons.
July 6: Brenda C. Thurmond, 56, Bourbon, was arrested on a Washington County warrant for allegedly possession of marijuana, bond $10,000 and Sullivan Police charges for allegedly possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance in a jail. Thurmond was held in the Sullivan Jail.
July 6: Douglas A. Summers Jr., 34, was arrested for allegedly shoplifting at Sullivan Wal-Mart. Summers was held and released on a court summons.
All subjects arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
